**** Tool for the Experience-based Analysis (EbA) method **** Author: Anu Piirisild Corresponding author: Anu Piirisild Contact information: anu.piirisild@ut.ee University of Tartu Institute of computer Science Narva mnt 18 Tartu ESTONIA ***** *** General Introduction *** The Experience-based Analysis (EbA) method is created with the purpose of providing requirements engineers with an early indication of whether the solution will function efficiently and identifying potential usability risks across various aspects. A preliminary EbA-tool is created to use the EbA method. Dataset contains three files: EbA_tool_MVP_ver_1.xlsx The tool, incl. tutorial EbA_analysis_full_example.xlsx A fictional example applying the EbA method and tool List_of_Versions.pdf Full list of all 256 versions of combined answers that the validation with EbA method can combine *** Method *** The EbA method was created by applying the Action Design Research method. The creation of the EbA method can be read in the master's thesis Piirisild, A. Analogy-Based Technology Effectiveness Prediction Model and Tool. Master’s thesis, University of Tartu (2021), http://hdl.handle.net/10062/72631 *** Usage *** The EbA tool is free to use. The tool also includes a page with tutorial how to use the method and a page how to use the tool. The dataset contains a fictional example, where a solution has been analyzed by EbA. The file also includes the description of the fictional case study. The dataset also includes the full list of all 256 versions of combined answers that the validation with EbA method can give. The answers are expressed as sentences that are composed from designated words and phrases.
