Contact Information: gerli.silm@ut.ee *** Methodological information *** This dataset contains data collected in DigiEfekt project during 2021/2022 study year from the students in the 3rd, 6th and 9th grade in 13 Estonian purposefully selected schools representing a wide variety of schools according to data of student academic achievement, school satisfaction of students and their parents, and digital readiness of the school. The dataset consists of a merged datafile DigiEfekt_project_data and a number of specific data files. In the merged data file are combined background variables and compound variables (e.g., average score of a construct measured by multiple items, numbers of clusters found in an analysis of the specific data) from the specific data files. However, there are also presented some data that is not separately presented in any specific data file: data about student cognitive ability[MOU2]. In specific data files are presented both compound variables and measure variables. Methods of data collection, access to data collection instruments, and information about analyses done to present compound variables are presented in Estonian in the DigiEfekt project reports presented to the Ministry of Education and Research in Estonia that funded the project. Some of these reports and instruments have been made publicly available in DigiEfekt datacollection. In the case of interest and additional questions, please contact the corresponding author of the merged data file or any specific data file. *** Data specific information *** In each datafile are presented to sheets Ð one presenting data and another one presenting codebook to explain each variable in data (code of the variable, explanation of the variable in English and Estonian, if applicable then item in Estonian as that was the language of data collection, scale, values of the scale if applicable). Missing values in the dataset are indicated as -9. *** Sharing and Access information *** DigiEfekt data is being made public to support the principles of open science and enable other researchers and students in the context in their studies to conduct additional analyses to solve various problems. Interested researchers and students could use this data according to CC BY-NC-ND license but they are also welcome to contact the corresponding authors of the data files for collaboration in researchers or further inquiries about the data and DigiEfekt project. Some of the data will be made open after a period when the authors of the data have been published the main results.
