This dataset was compiled within the research project PRG1052 “National Identity and Estonian–Russian Relations: a Longitudinal Study of Elite and Mass Discourses” (2021–2025) and is a longitudinal dataset on national identity created using the Making Identity Count methodology. The dataset is divided into two language-specific subsets—Estonian-language and Russian-language data—and spans five reference years—1990, 1995, 2000, 2010, and 2020—covering six distinct genres—history textbooks, speeches by political leaders, opinion articles and letters to the editor in major daily newspapers, the most-watched films, and the best-selling works of fiction. The compilation of the national identity dataset followed the standardized approach and methodology of Making Identity Count. The resulting National Identity Reports are publicly available at: https://hdl.handle.net/10062/108183. An overview of the project’s theoretical framework, content, methodology, and results can be found at: https://sisu.ut.ee/makingidentitycount/.

<summary type="text">Survey on Public Perceptions of Big Tech Companies in Europe
Ehin, Piret; Mölder, Martin; Talving, Liisa; Kondratyk, Yurii
This data set contains a cross-country survey in 15 European countries on public perceptions of big-tech companies. The purpose of the dataset is to map out European citizens' perceptions of big-tech companies together with additional information that would allow to analyse how such perceptions are related to political and socio-demographic characteristics of the respondents. The survey contains questions about how people perceive the political and social role of GAFAM (Google, Apple, Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft), how much they trust these companies and how they perceive the need to regulate such companies. Furthermore, it contains questions on the political and ideological preferences of the respondents, how much they are satisfied with the political situation in their countries, how much they trust political institutions in their countries and what their attitudes are about the EU.

<summary type="text">Environmental Politics Expert Survey
Haapanen, Ville
This dataset consists of data on the positions of political parties on various environmental scales in 25 European countries. The expert survey was administered between June and July 2024 to 285 experts on political parties and environmental politics. It is being made public for research use. The EPES expert-level.csv files provide raw data at the respondent level. Note that in the expert-level dataset, responses from Latvia, Slovenia and Portugal are excluded due to the low number of responses gathered from these countries. The EPES party-level.csv files provide averaged expert positioning for each party.
