The dataset comprises a total of 443 samples collected from 105 pregnant women. It contains sequence data derived from clinical material, obtained through 16S rRNA gene sequencing of DNA extracted from the following sample types: 85 vaginal, 84 cervical, 105 urine, 85 oral and 84 rectal samples.

Human Microbiota Biobank (HUMB) at University of Tartu, Estonia, was established to support and promote research activities in the field of human microbiota. The collection contains more than 20,000 bacterial strains, both lactic acid bacteria and opportunistic bacteria. The dataset contains sequence data of a portion of the strains.
