This is the main data file that contains the information on the feedback on the Digital Markets Act / the Digital Services Act (DMA/DSA) that was collected during the legislative process of the EU. The complete data set that we have used also contains the texts of the feedback. For publication, we provide a version, which does not contain the original texts of the feedback, but instead we provide a link, where users can access the feedback.

Dataset summary
---------------

The data set contains feedback from tech companies as well as other stakeholders that have been published during the legislative process of the EU Digital Markets Act (DMA) and the Digital Services Act (DSA). This data will be the source material in the INCA project for the analysis of the positions of tech companies (including GAFAM) in relation to DSA/DMA.

Data processing and preparation
-------------------------------

Parts of the feedback was published directly under the links that are contained in the data set and this was collected from the particular websites. The latter, however, also contained links to PDF files with further feedback. These PDF files were downloaded and the texts that was contained in them was extracted and minimally processed so that it would be ready for further processing and analysis.

- Submitted on : Date of feedback.  
- Submitted by : Name of the person submitting the feedback. 
- Act : The act that the feedback pertains to (DMA/DSA)
- Link : Link to the feedback on the EC website.
- Filename : The name of PDF file, if the feedback contained an additional document with additional feedback. 
- User type : The type of user (organization) that submitted the feedback. 
- Organization : The name of the organization submitted the feedback.
